How many times do you play every week?

Lots of awesome sports are great workouts, yet some people don't consider them "real sports." As an adult dodgeball player, I know all too well that just because a sport isn't played in the NCAA, the Olympics, a professional league, or even a varsity high school context, it doesn't mean it isn't a "real" sport. It makes me break a sweat, it helps me maintain a normal weight, and it's extremely competitive. If those aren't the qualities of a sport, then I don't know what is! We all saw Marty Supreme! If table tennis is considered a real sport by the Olympics, who are we to say that dodgeball, bowling, kickball, and pickleball aren't real sports?

Pickleball has blown up over the past five years. Before the 2020s, pickleball was one of those things only retired people played because they weren't "athletic" enough to play real tennis. Now that the world has woken up to how fun and fulfilling pickleball can be, we all know that people of all ages can enjoy pickleball and get a great workout out of it. It's easier on your joints than other sports, and it's less dangerous than sports that involve a bunch of people throwing giant balls at your face. Trust me, I would know!
